On January 12, 2025, Beat the Streets Los Angeles held our annual fundraiser at Mt. San Antonio College. The event was a success, rallying support for our student-athletes and Summer Enrichment Program. We were also proud to feature speeches from two exceptional Tomorrow’s Leaders participants, Marisa Alvarez and Abraham Datte.

Supporting Athletes Affected by Wildfires This year’s event also aided athletes impacted by the January fires in Pacific Palisades, Altadena, and surrounding areas. Many student-athletes from La Cañada High School, Palisades Charter High School, and Marshall Fundamental High School lost homes or were displaced. Thanks to Rudis and USA Wrestling, we provided: • 50 Rudis gift cards ($150 each) for essential gear • Shoes, shorts, and shirts from BTSLA • Wrestling gear from USA Wrestling
