Olivia Olmedo was born and raised in the Antelope Valley and is a proud first-generation college graduate. She earned her B.A. in Sociology with high distinction from University of California, Berkeley, where she worked with Bay Area nonprofits supporting literacy, college access, and youth mentorship.

Olivia joined Beat the Streets Bay Area in 2023 as an AmeriCorps VISTA, serving as a Program and Operations Coordinator. Since then, she has grown alongside the organization, playing a supporting role in its collaboration with Beat the Streets Los Angeles. She now serves as an Associate Director of Operations, continuing to support growth in the Bay Area and spearhead efforts to further strengthen Beat the Streets Los Angeles.
