Fall Academy and Tomorrow's Leaders Program Highlights A Successful Fall

Beat the Streets LA up and running with Fall Academy
For the first time since March, over 250 of our student-athletes will meet to take part in socially-distanced outdoor workouts as part of our 6-week Fall Academy. Beat the Streets LA Delivers Summer Academy Directly to Living Rooms
Adversity turned into opportunity as Beat the Streets Los Angeles coordinated its first-ever virtual wrestling camp experience for over 200 youth this summer throughout Los Angeles and surrounding communities. Annual Benefit Postponement and Programming Update
In light of the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we've made the difficult decision to postpone our 6th Annual Benefit previously scheduled to take place on May 16th, 2020 until further notice. Although we have paused our in-person programming, we remain committed to promoting physical fitness, healthy living, academic achievement, and character development for our youth. Beat the Streets Los Angeles Empowerment Grant Impacts High School Wrestling Scene
Since 2012, Beat the Streets Los Angeles has mentored countless youth wrestlers that have continued their wrestling careers at a number of high schools across the Greater Los Angeles Area. Through a series of strong partnerships, Beat the Streets LA has youth community programs operating year-round at over ten high schools. Beat the Streets Los Angeles Expands Board and Staff with Hyman, Roberts, Stein, and Fronhofer
In 2012, founder and Board Chair Andy Barth established Beat the Streets Los Angeles (BTSLA). As of January 2020, BTSLA has expanded to over 25 programs impacting over 1,000 student-athletes annually. A November to Remember
Beat the Streets Los Angeles kicked into full gear in November with three exciting events that gave our student-athletes an opportunity to explore university life, make new friends, and compete! On Saturday, November 2nd, wrestlers from the Downtown Academy and Topanga Division wrestled in a USA Wrestling Tournament at Thousand Oaks High School.
